The Institute's excellent on-site core scientific service laboratories provide high quality support to its research groups. These facilities provide state-of-the-art instrumentation and technical advice to Institute staff.

Bioinformatics offers a statistics and computational analysis service, and develops analysis software.
The Biorepository oversees all cell and tissue culture and storage at the CRI, including sample tracking and management.
The Equipment Park houses a range of state-of-the-art equipment and specialised technologies.
Flow cytometry use state-of-the-art instruments to sort, count and analyse the characteristics of different cell types.
Genomics allows researchers to access the latest DNA and RNA analysis resources and sequencing technologies.
Histopathology offer a variety of histological techniques as immunohistochemistry, as well as slide digitisation.
The facility provides imaging and microscopy expertise and explores advanced experimental imaging techniques.
PK/PD carry out mathematical and clinical studies on how the body processes drugs, and what drugs do to the body.
Pre-clinical imaging is a collaborative facility that manages a range of imaging machines for the CRI.
Proteomics use mass spectrometry to study the structures, interactions and expression levels of proteins.
