Research groups
The CRI's research groups undertake research in four main areas:
- Basic research into the cellular and molecular biology of cancer;
- Research in molecular imaging, genomics, bioinformatics, and computational biology;
- Translational research on specific cancer sites;
- Clinical investigations including experimental medicine based clinical studies and clinical trials.
Twenty one of the CRI's research groups are core-funded by Cancer Research UK, and we also host the Fearon group who joined us in June 2011 from the University of Cambridge. See below for a list of all research groups at the CRI.
