Research Goals
The research uses genomics tools (sequencing, molecular cytogenetics, array-CGH, mRNA/miRNA profiling, tissue microarrays, targeted gene disruption) to analyse breast cancers with the following aims:
1. Generate better classifications and validate prognostic/predictive markers;
2. Identify novel therapeutic targets;
3. Characterise pathways of tumorigenesis and epithelial transformation.

Honorary Consultant Medical Oncologist at Addenbrooke's Hospital
Director of the Cambridge National Translational Cancer Research Network Centre
Fellow of the American College of Physicians
Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians
2004 - elected a Fellow of the Academy of the Medical Sciences

Joined the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Research Institute in summer 2006.
