Fundraising

We need the generosity and support of the public to change the story of cancer for patients locally, regionally and nationally — turning our vision into reality.

Our fundraising campaign is a joint venture between Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust and the University of Cambridge, raising money for the much-needed Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital.

Through the new Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital, we have an opportunity to transform cancer care and shift the dial on the disease.

Be a part of saving and dramatically improving the lives of people with cancer for generations to come. Donate now.

Every year around 375,000 people in the UK are told they have cancer. Sadly, half of those diagnosed will die of their disease. With the number of people receiving a cancer diagnosis each year set to rise to over 500,000 by 2035, and with treatment costs rising exponentially, we need to find a radical solution to tackle the cancer crisis.

Cambridge is home to a thriving life sciences ecosystem. This includes one of only four biomedical campuses in the world which have the capability, critical mass of experts, and integration of science and medicine to transform cancer care. The Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital will be located at the heart of this campus, and with its powerful trinity of academia, industry and the NHS, the new hospital will be uniquely placed to change the story of cancer.
